Notes:

The 1946 (Jun) and pre-1938 maps are simple, black and white maps showing road conditions as of that month. These were probably issued in addition to more elaborate maps, such as the 1938 (Jan) and 1940 (Jan) maps listed below, which are more colorful and contain tourist photos, etc.

 

From 1985 to the present, the maps contain a reference to the number of copies printed, along with a date, at the bottom center of the map. This date is used as the date for the map, except for the 1996 and 1997 editions. There is also a notation near the legend which states "Highway System current thru...", along with a date. These are sometimes one or two years different from the printing date.
