Notes:

A road atlas issued by the Highway Department is reported to have been issued in 1910. This atlas contains maps for each county in Ohio, and is entitled "Highway Maps of Ohio."

 

Maps after 1982 are dated in several places, including the cover, copyright dates, and publication dates. The most reliable dates appear to be the publication dates, so these have been used for the map date on the list below. Publication dates in the fall of a given year are listed as the following year (i.e. 9/85 is listed as a 1986 map).

 

The 1996 map states that 2,000,000 transportation maps and 200,000 motorcycle maps were printed. The Motorcycle map features a color picture of a motorcyclist on the cover, and is entitled "The Official 1996 Ohio Motorcycle Map."

 

The Ohio Dept. of Commerce's Division of Tourism has issued a map titled "Ohio Tour and Highway Map" every other year starting in 1993. These are not considered to be official highway maps.
