Notes:
The
[c.1925] map shows all of the main roads of the whole province and on the right
side is printed ” Road Map of New Brunswick Issued by
Road Depm’nt. Department of Public Works P. J. Veniot – Minister.” P. J. Venoit was
the Minister of Public Works from Nov. 5, 1917 until Sept. 10, 1925. During
this time, he became known as “Good Roads Veniot” and
aggressively pursued a road building program.
