Notes:

At present, it is not certain what the status of the two varieties of maps from the mid-1930s to 1942 represent. 1936 A is titled "Official Government Map" while 1936 B has the title "Official Road Map." 1942 A, and all other maps are titled "Official Government Map." 1942 B is titled "Sportsmen's Map." The "B" varieties are probably a second series of maps published for hunting, fishing, etc., but more examples need to be examined before this can be concluded.

 

The map listed as 1953 was probably printed for 1954 release, based on the printing code of 11-53 (Nov. 1953). The map listed as [c. 1960] is of the same style as the 1950s maps, so it is definitely prior to 1961. It could, however, be the 1959 map reported by the Canadian Archives.
