RMCA 2008 Map Expo in Hammond, Indiana

Map Expo information:

The room-to-room trading portion of the RMCA map expo will take place at the Amerihost Inn, 7813 Indianapolis Blvd., Hammond, Indiana. Room reservations must be made directly with the Amerihost Inn. Call 219 845-4678 and mention "RMCA" or "Road map group" to obtain room rate.

On Friday afternoon, room-to-room trading begins after check-in time (2 p.m.) and continues until 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested may carpool to a nearby restaurant for a group dinner. Room-to-room trading resumes after dinner.

The swap meet takes place on Saturday. This year, we have a new location for the swap meet. The swap meet will take place at the Jean Shepherd Community Center, 3031 Mahoney Drive, Hammond, Indiana.

Set-up for registered sellers begins Saturday at 8 a.m. and continues until noon. A box lunch is served (by advance reservation) at noon, and the expo will be concluded with a business meeting from approximately 1 to 2 p.m.

Details (including prices) for the 2008 Map Expo are as follows:

• General admission — for those who wish to buy but who do not plan to sell or trade — is available to RMCA members for $5 or for non-members for $7 (per person).
• Entry to the Friday evening buffet dinner is $15 per person.
• A box lunch on Saturday is $7 per person.
